Detailed Tour Plan

Day 01:  Delhi – Haridwar

We will drive from Delhi to Haridwar and check in at hotel, relax. In the evening visit Harki Pauri for Aarti ceremony of mother Ganges.

Day 02: Haridwar– Guptakashi (260 Kms. Drive 08 – 09 Hrs)

Today we will start our journey to Guptakashi

Guptakashi

Guptakashi, Gupta Kashi or Guptkashi is a fairly large town located at an elevation of 1,319 metres (4,327 ft) in the Kedar-khanda (‘khanda’ means “sector”), in Garhwal Himalayas of Rudraprayag district in Uttrakhand, India.

Vishwanath Temple UttarkashiIt is famous for the ancient Vishwanath Temple – dedicated to god Shiva – similar to the one in Varanasi (Kashi). The other famous temple here is dedicated to Ardhanareshvara (a half man half woman form of Shiva and Parvati). The name Guptakashi has legendary significance linked to the Pandavas, the heroes of the Hindu epic Mahabharata.

Afternoon visit to temple and dinner & stay overnight at hotel

Day 03: Guptkashi – Kedarnath – (Return by Helicopter)

After early breakfast leave by vehicle up to Helipad as per the reporting time, do boarding formalities & wait here for your time slot, on arrival at Kedarnath perform early Pooja & Darshan at Temple & come back to Helipad to take return flight to Guptkashi. Dinner & stay overnight at hotel.

Kedarnath Temple

KEDARNATH TEMPLE:

The present temple built in 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam – the main idol, a statue of Nandi – the celestial bull, a ‘Garba Grah’ for worship and a man dap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. The temple is more than 1000 years old.

Guptakashi –  Badrinath(155 kms Drive/ 6 Hrs)

After Breakfast leave for Badrinath En-route visit Narsingh Temple, and Adi Shankracharya Samadhi at Joshimath, then drive to Badrinath and on arrival Pooja Darshan at Temple.

Vyas & Ganesh-Gufa

Later visit Vyas Cave, Ganesh Cave, Bhim Bridge & origin of River Saraswati at Mana village the last village before the Tibetan border, later go to temple for holy Darshan/Pooja & attend evening Arti. Dinner & stay overnight at hotel.

Badrinath Temple

BADRINATH:

Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines – Badrinath along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering Neelkantha Peaks as the splendid backdrop. Once the spot was carpeted with ‘badris’ or wild berries and hence was famous as Badri van. Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help suffering humanity; the earth was unable to withstand the force of its descent. Therefore, the mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath.

Day 04: Badrinath – Srinagar (190 kms / 07-08hrs)

Morning Maha abhishek Pooja/ Darshan. After breakfast drive to Srinagar en-route visiting Vishnuprayag, Karnprayag, Nandprayag & Rudraprayag. Later drive to Srinagar.  Dinner & stay overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Srinagar – Rishikesh – Dehradun  (175 kms / 05 Hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Delhi Via Rishikesh.

Laxman Jhula

Arrive and visit to Trayambakeshwar Temple, on the east bank of the Ganges at Lakshman Jhula Bridge, is 13 stories high, and Bharat Mandir is situated in the heart of the old town on the banks of the Ganges. The Inner sanctum of the temple has the idol of Lord Vishnu, carved out of a single Saligram. Parmarth Niketan – One of the few Ashrams left in India where Kids get the Veda Education.

After lunch visit to Triveni Ghat- a most revered sacred bathing spot in Rishikesh and is situated on the banks of Ganges River.

Delhi Arrival by 8:00 PM. Drop at Home/Hotel/Airport.
