Detailed Tour Plan

Day 01: Arrive Delhi International airport

Delhi International AirportMeet and greet by our representative on arrival in India at international airport and transfer to hotel for installation. Overnight at hotel

Day 02: Delhi = Chandigarh – Manali by surface (alt 2000 m.) (Approx 310 kms/09 hrs journey)

Morning departure transfer with packed breakfast to catch the train to Chandigarh, on arrive at Chandigarh station then proceed Manali by private car. In the evening check in the hotel in Manali.

Day 03: Manali/ Chatru / Chandertal (Approx 116 kms/ 7 hrs)

After breakfast interaction with cruise staff, later we start our motorbike adventure on Royal Enfield to Chandertal over climbing Rohtang Pass (3980 m) and then meandering our way down to Gramphu.

Rohtang PassFrom here we drive along the Chandra river. From Gramphu to Chandertal Lake is a dirt road but very scenic providing views of Bara Shigri Glacier and CB ranges.  On arrival check in at camp at base of Chandertal Lake.

Day 04: Chandertal / Kaza (Approx 170 kms/ 6-7 hrs)

Early morning by walk (1 hrs one way) to visit Chandertal (The moon lake – 4270 m) which is of exquisite beauty between a lower ridge and the main Kunzum range, the outlet being into Chandra river. Enjoy the charming scenery and drive to Kaza over Kunzum Pass (4558 m) and passing some beautiful villages of Spiti valley.

Day 05: Kaza

After breakfast, you will ride to Key monastery and world highest village Komik (4587 meters).

Later come back to hotel and time free for personal activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Kaza/ Pin Valley/Tabo (Approx 85 kms/ full day)

An excursion visiting Pin Valley, the land of Ibex and Snow Leopards. Here we also visit Gungri Monastery.

After the visit we continue our ride to visit the old monastery at Lalung village and then continue to Tabo village & monastery.

Tabo monastery was founded in 996 AD by the great teacher Richensang-po, Tabo is renowned for its breathtaking murals and stucco images – and is often called “The Ajanta of the Himalayas”. The largest monastic complex in Spiti, the old section has 9 temples, 23 chortens, a monks chamber and a nuns chamber.

Day 07: Tabo/ Nako (Approx 90 kms/ 3-4 hrs)

nako villageMorning explore the village.. later continue your journey to Nako. On arrival at Nako, a beautiful village located by the banks of lake, check in at camp. Overnight in camp at Nako.

Day 08: Nako/ Kalpa (Approx 125 kms/ 6 hrs)

Early morning visit the village, the Buddhist temples with stucco images and murals and a rock where a footprint like impression is ascribed to Padmasambhava. Later we drive from Nako to Kalpa enroute visiting confluence of Satluj & Spiti rivers at Khab.

Kalpa village is located in backdrop of Kinner Kailash mountain range. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of day free to explore Kalpa village. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Kalpa/ Sangla (Approx 103 kms/ 6 hrs)

Travel by from Kalpa to Sangla en route visiting Kamru Fort & village. We  further travel to Sangla, on arrival install at camp.

Day 10: Sangla/Chitkul/Sangla

Full day excursion to Chitkul Village, A spectacular sight of Chitkul village and its surrounding left you speechless. 270 degrees of snowy, jagged panorama and 90 degrees of the arid boulder panorama, the Himalayas cover this village from all the sides and that view is breathtaking.

Day 11: Sangla/ Sarahan (Approx 198 kms/ 6-7 hrs)

Travel from Sangla to Sarahan. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening witness the Aarti ceremony at Bhimakali temple.

Day 12: Sarahan/Shoja (Approx 140 Kms / 05-06 Hrs)

Morning drive to Soja (called Sohja) is a Himalayan hamlet (8500 ft asl) 5 kms short of Jalori Pass. The area is blessed with exceptional Himalayan beauty and is excellent for walks, treks, bird watching and a nature centric experience.

Day 13: Shoja

Morning after breakfast walking tour to Serolsar Lake (5 kms – half day) through thick forests. Bird watching around the area in the evening.

Morning depart to Manali, en route visiting Kullu Valley, on arrival, installation at hotel.

Day 15: Manali Departure

Morning free to explore the Manali town, afternoon in time departure transfer to Bus stand to catch the Volvo Bus to Delhi. Overnight journey in the Bus

Day 16: Arrive Delhi in The Morning

On arrival, welcome with our local representative and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities, Evening in time departure transfer to International airport to catch the flight to onwards destination .
