Day 1: Reach Leh
Reach Leh by Air & Transfer to Hotel by Private Taxi. All day relax in hotel for acclimatization. In the evening head towards Shanti Stupa followed by stroll in the markets of Leh. Shanti Stupa was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu.
Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 2: Leh Local ( Stok Museum, Shey Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, Stakna Gompa, Leh Palace)
After breakfast at hotel, visit Stok Museum followed by Shey Monastery and Thiksey Monastery where we will find buddhist monks for beautiful portraits and many subjects such as Buddhist art, statues, thangkas, wall paintings and swords. The monastery gives us clear view of indus valley which is the major attraction for landscape photographers.
After lunch visiting Stakna Monastery which is also known as Tiger’s nose monastery. No trip to Ladakh is complete without capturing the beautiful composition of the monastery, which is located on a small hill alongside river Indus, during golden hour under the beautiful colors of sunset. After witnessing magnificent sunset at Leh-Manali Highway, move towards Leh Local Market followed by dinner at hotel.
Day 3: Leh – Changla Pass – Pangong (Approx 150Kms)
Move early in the morning for Chang La to ensure that we reach Changla La without encountering lot of traffic. Once we reach the summit, you have 10 to 15 minutes to wander around and get your photographs clicked at the 3rd Highest motor-able road in World. Then leave for Pangong Tso Lake.
Arrive Pangong, which is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China, Enjoy the beauty of the lake. Drop off your luggage at the camps and get ready to click beautiful landscapes with amazing cloud formations and beautiful sunsets. Overnight in camps followed by dinner and astro-photography.
Day 4: Pangong – Nubra (Approx 170 kms)
After breakfast in Pangong Camps, spend some time at the lake & 3 idiots site & move towards Nubra Valley via Shok Valley. It one of the least traveled route and most remote area of ladakh region and perfect for capturing mountain ranges and valleys. Reaching Hunder, Visit the cold desert and enjoy the camel rides.
Hunder is set amidst fields of rye and barley and surrounded by fruit orchids and sand dunes. A perfect place for clicking silhouettes under the beautiful lights of sunset. Overnight stay at Hunder followed by dinner. Don’t forget to do Astro-photography and click the amazing night sky of nubra valley after 11:00 PM to capture Milky way in your photo gallery forever.
Day 5: Hunder – Diskit – Hunder
After breakfast in camps leave for Diskit Monastery. The main and unique attraction of Diskit monastery is a gigantic statue with approximately height 100 feet of Lord Buddha on the top of it and is considered as one of the oldest as well as the largest Buddhist center in Ladakh.
A perfect place to experience and capture the magnificent view of Nubra valley from the top of the monastery. After lunch, walk around Diskit to witness magnificent sunset & sandstorms followed by overnight at camps in Hunder.
Day 6: Nubra – Khardung La – Lamayuru (Approx 240kms)
After breakfast in Nubra Camps, Start early in the morning for a long journey towards our next destination, Lamayuru via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in world standing at an elevation of 18,380 ft (5602 m). Once we reach the summit, you can take time out to get your photo taken next to the signboard which says “Khardung La, 18380 ft. (5602 m), Highest Motorable Road in the world”.
Later on, moving towards Leh for Lunch followed by a drive of 125km to Lamayuru. Lamayuru is famous for and is also known as Moonland. As the name says itself, the land resembles moon.
Overnight stay at hotel in Lamayuru.
Day 7: Lamayuru – Aryan Village ( Approx 80kms)
After morning Breakfast, visit Lamayuru Monastry for shots of Buddhist monks and Buddhist art and architecture. Later on, Drive towards Dah Hanu, the Aryan Village.
Here you will find a community which is believed to be the last race of Aryans, confined to the valley. With their pure Aryan features, these people seemed to have preserved their racial purity down the centuries. A great place to capture tribal and cultural photographs. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Aryan Village – Sonmarg (Approx 200 kms)
Leave early in the morning after breakfast. On the way to Sonamarg ,witness the Drass war memorial, built in the memory of fallen soldiers in the 1999 Kargil war, a few kms before Drass. Now we move towards Sonamarg 62kms from Drass passing the famous Zoji La pass (11,640ft), the gateway to the Kashmir.
Moving towards the greener part of the Jammu and kashmir region, The flower-laden meadows and panoramic view of lofty Himalayan peaks always capture a photographer’s eye. When the mellow rays of the sun caress the snow capped mountains, they turn golden, which gives Sonamarg (golden meadow) its name.

Day 9: Sonamarg – Srinagar (Approx 80 kms)
After breakfast in the morning, Drive towards our last destination, Srinagar within 2 hours. Reach Srinagar through some of the magnificent vistas Kashmir is renowned for. Ringed by an arc of green mountains, Srinagar’s greatest draw-card is mesmerisingly placid Dal Lake, on which a bright array of stationary houseboats and shikara (gondola-like boats) add a splash of color and a unique opportunity for Photographers to make classic landscape shots of mountain valley.

The Pushkar fair is one of India’s largest camel, horse and cattle fairs. Apart from the trading of livestock, it is an important pilgrimage season for Hindus to the Pushkar lake.
Pushkar fair has also become a significant tourist attraction for domestic and international travelers, given the cooler season, the abundance of colorful cultural themes. Cultural events and competitions include dances, tug of war between women teams as well as men teams, the “matka phod”, “longest mustache” competition, “bridal competition”, camel races and others.
Held each November at the time of the Kartik Purnima full moon, a spectacle on an epic scale, attracting thousands of camels, horses and cattle and visited by over 400,000 people over a period of around fourteen days.

Day 01: Arrive New Delhi
On arrival meeting assistance & transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay
Day 02: New Delhi to Chandigarh and Drive to Manali
In time transfer to New Delhi Railway Station to board Shatabdi Express to Chandigarh.
On arrival meeting assistance at Chandigarh. After short briefing and introduction with crew / technical support team, proceed to Manali. 325 kms drive will take approx. 8 hours to reach Manali. Check in at the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 02: In Manali
After a leisurely breakfast, day at leisure to acclimatize or to explore the best of Manali town. One of the most favorite destination for Indian tourist may be crowded with many visitors in summer.
Explore Mall Road / Hadimba Temple / Vashisth Ashram and hot spring at the temple and post lunch check your gears and essential stuffs for your overland drive to Leh. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.
Day 03: Drive Manali Rohtang Pass – Koksar – Keylong
Depart Manali early in the morning our first halt is Marhi. A barren landscape offering extensive views of the valley and the mountains. We proceed to Rohtang Pass 3790 M, it is most popular with visitors, being one of the highest road point and gateway to LAHAUL and SPITI valleys.
Pass remains closed during winter due to heavy snow from November end to May end. Visitors can drive upto Marhi below Rohtang with similar high altitude topography, forest of Birch, Fir and Spurce.
Once we cross the Rohtang Pass border we are in the Barren Himalayas with the landscape completely changing. Khoksar is the first village and gate way to Lahaul Night stay in Keylong.

Day 04: Drive Keylong – Darcha – Sarchu- Leh
Get prepared for the most interesting overland high altitude drive up to Leh. May take approx. 10 hours. You will arrive at Darcha (3500 M) it is situated at the junction of Yotche Nullah and the Zanskar chhu which takes off from the Shinkun la. Both these nullahs meet with the main river Bhaga at this place. This is the main point for the trek lovers wish to enter in Zanskar valley or up to Leh.
Drive from this place will take you to BaraLacha Pass (1620 Ft) and further drive to Sarchu which is nearly the mid-point of Manali Leh route. Continue drive to Pang and cross Morai plains and arrive at Tanglangla Pass (5400 M) and enter in Leh Valley.
Your further drive will take you to Upsi by crossing river Indus and follow the highway up to Leh. Check in at your hotel and overnight stay.
Day 05: In Leh: Visit the town and surrounds
The morning is at leisure for rest after the long journey. After lunch visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace & the markets.

Day 06: Leh – Pangong Lake (145 kms.)
Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 155 kms, located on the Indo China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft).
This famous blue blackish lake is 5 to 6 kms wide and over 144 km long with half of it running to the other side of the Indo-China border. After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for overnight stay.
Day 07: Pangong – Hemis / Thiksey – Leh
After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh.
Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Overnight in hotel.
Day 08: Leh – Khardungla – Nubra Valley (125 kms.)
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardung-la (alt: 18,380 ft).
After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor Village and Samstaling Gompa.
Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for overnight in a fixed camp or hotel.
Day 09: Nubra Valley – Khardungla-Leh (125 kms.)
In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment).
Later drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Leh – Alchi – Lamayuru – Kargil
After leisurely breakfast drive down the Indus Valley on the first leg of your journey to Kargil & Srinagar.
On the way, visit Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point, Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers) and then the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic complex famous for its wall frescoes and architecture – a UNESCO listed heritage site.
Continue drive towards Kargil, enroute visiting the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining “Moonland” hills.
On the way to Kargil you can view the 9-mtrs, tall rock sculpture of the Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek (7th – 8th century AD).

Day 11: Kargil – Sonamarg – Srinagar (205kms)
Early departure for Srinagar driving through Drass (famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world) and crossing the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) to reach hill station of Sonamarg from where it’s smooth driving through the beautiful Kashmir countryside to reach Srinagar.

Day 12: In Srinagar
After a leisurely breakfast get prepared to have a Shikara ride at Dal Lake to see the beauty of the lake and local shopping around.
Back to the main land and explore world famous Mughal Garden / Nishat Bagh. Explore the down town area of Srinagar city and colorful market may attract you for the local souvenirs.
Back to the hotel / Deluxe house boat and overnight stay.
Day 13: Departure Srinagar

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival in India you will be greeted and escorted by our executive to your hotel. (Rooms will be available from 1200 Hrs)
In its 3000 years of existence; seven cities have risen where the present capital of India stands. Here you’ll encounter a fascinating blend of the ancient and the contemporary. Where government buildings, medieval palaces and bazaars exist beside a modern metropolis. Delhi is a city waiting to be explored.

Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast enjoy the sightseeing of Delhi.
Visit the Red Fort the 17th century imposing fortress built in red sandstone is surrounded by a huge 33m high boundary wall. Inside are exquisite palaces and beautiful gardens.
Opposite the Red Fort lies Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque) made of red sandstone and white marble, completed in 1656 at a cost of one million Rupees has perfect proportions.
Jama Masjid is India’s largest mosque where more than 20.000 people can kneel in prayer. The interior of the prayer hall is divided into aisles by arches. The walls and floors are of marble inlay panels.
Also visit the Raj Ghat on the banks of the river Yamuna, Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial, where he was cremated following his assassination in January 1948. The memorial lies in the midst of landscaped gardens and made of a simple square platform of black marble inscribed with his last words “Hey Ram”. An eternal flame burns 24 hours.
In the afternoon visit New Delhi. You will drive past India Gate Built of Bharatpur stone, commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war. 13516 names of British and Indian soldiers killed in the Afghan War of 1919 are engraved on the arch and foundations. Photo stop at Rashtrapati Bhawan once the Viceroy’s residence is now the official residence of the President of India.
Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, built by his wife Haji Begum in the 16th. Century. An early example of Mughal architecture considered the predecessor of the Taj Mahal.
Later visit the Qutub Minar the landmark of Delhi, a huge tower of victory started in 1199 and completed in 1368. The minar is 72.5m high with a diameter at the base 14.4m and 2.7m at the top. The tower has 379 steps to the top.

Day 03: Delhi / Jaipur (Approx. 258 Kms / 05 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur.
Jaipur- the City of Victory was originally Sawai Jaipur, named after its founder Sawai Jai Singh II (1700-1743). The sunset-pink tinge of its walls, buildings, temples and emporia gave it the name Pink City, the name in which it became famous throughout the world.

Day 04: Jaipur
After breakfast enjoys an excursion trip which takes you to Amber Fort on Jeep / Elephants.
This city Fort is situated 130m high with the Aravalli hills all around it in a valley 11 km north of Jaipur. It was the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs till 1037.
En route, make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). It is a 5 storied building from the 18th century having 953 windows and niches made so that the ladies of the Royal family.
In the afternoon visit the “Pink City” of Jaipur.
You will visit City Palace, which houses the Royal residence and museums with collections of textiles and costumes, armoury, manuscripts, paintings etc.
Also visit Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar-1728-34) built by king astrologer Jai Singh II. The instruments are built of stone with marble facing on the important plains for measuring the harmony of the heavens. Each instrument serves a particular function and each gives an accurate reading.
Ranthambore is one of the finest tiger reserves in India nestled in the Aravallis it is home to a variety of flora and fauna. The park along with the contiguous regions of Kela Devi and Sawai Man Singh parks forms a good biosphere along the Chambal River, which separates it from Madhya Pradesh.

Day 06: Ranthambore
Early morning enjoy game drive in the park
Return to the hotel for breakfast. Ranthambore is a dry deciduous forest replete with several lakes, rivulets and a magnificent ancient fort overlooking the park. The wildlife that one can see here are a large variety of birds, including an impressive number of waterfowl and birds of prey.
In the afternoon set out for another game drive.

Day 07: Ranthambore / Bharatpur (240 Kms – 5 ½ Hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Bharatpur.
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or Keoladeo Ghana National Park, which was established in 1956. This 29 sq km marshland is one of the finest bird sanctuaries in the world with over 360 species of birds, out of which 117 are the local birds. Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, it used to be a part of the private shooting reserve of the Maharaja of Bharatpur.
Among many bird species to be seen are egrets, storks, ducks, Chinese coots, kingfishers, spoonbills, sarus cranes and several birds of prey, including falcon, marsh harrier and eagle. Alone 80 species of ducks can be spotted here. There are also chital, Nilgai, deer, wild cats, hyenas and wild boar whilst near the entrance there are usually some very large rock pythons.
During November to February the northern hemisphere migratory birds visit the park from China, Europe and Siberia, including the rare Siberian Crane.

Day 08: Bharatpur / Chambal (125 Kms – 2 ½ Hrs drive)
Morning enjoy the Rickshaw ride in Bharatpur.
Later drive to Chambal, on the way visit Fatehpur Sikri, the beautiful and deserted medieval city built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire.
The complex consists of religious, residential and administrative buildings. The Mosque is considered a copy for the Mosque at Mecca and is extremely elegant, containing elements of Hindu and Persian design. Housed here is the Shrine of Sheikh Salim Chisti one of the greatest of Sufi saints of the Muslim world.

After breakfast, enjoy the River Safari. The calm and gentle waters of the Chambal River are best explored on boats and the River Safari provides spectacular opportunities to view the wildlife.

The Chambal Safari boatmen are exceptionally skilled at cutting the boat engines, and maneuvering as close to the birds and animals as possible without disturbing them. Trained naturalists accompany visitors and provide expert information on the Chambal wildlife. The River Safari is a most relaxing, enjoyable and special experience.

The ancient temple complex at Bateshwar on the river Yamuna, 10 km from the Chambal Safari Lodge, consists of more than a hundred temples dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva. Day 10: Chambal / Agra (70 Kms – 1 ½ Hrs drive)

The most extravagant monument ever built for love is a tribute to the timelessness of art and love. The inimitable poem in white marble, one of the seven modern wonders of the world, the finest expression of love of Emperor Shah Jahan for his queen Mumtaz who died giving birth to their 14th child, is located on the banks of the Yamuna river here. The construction of the Taj had commenced in 1631AD and had ended in 1653AD. Workers were gathered from all over the country and from central Asia. About 20,000 people were recruited to translate this dream into reality. The main architect was Isa Khan who was brought from Iran.
Later visit Agra Fort, -Built by the great Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is a masterpiece of design and construction. Within the fort are a number of exquisite buildings, including the Moti Masjid, Diwane-I-Am, Diwane-I-Khas and Musamman Burj, where the Emperor Shah Jahan died in imprisonment, besides Jahangir’s Palace, Khaas Mahal and the Sheesh Mahal.
