Detailed Tour Plan
Day 01-Cochin: Arrive Cochin
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Afternoon, after fresh up gather at hotel lobby for small briefing about your motorbike expedition and later test ride with Royal Enfield 500 CC around the fort Cochin town. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02- Cochin –Vythiri (235 Kms/06 Hours Ride)
Today morning ride to Vythiri en-route visiting Guruvayur temple which is situated near the Guruvayurappam Temple. The temple enshrines the idol of Lord Shiva and also houses smaller shrines of Ayyappa, Vishnu, Subramanyam and Ganapathy.
Continue drive to Vythiri en-route visit to Kozhikode.
Vythiri, located in the hill district of Wayanad, is a popular hill station in Kerala. The destination has earned the reputation of having vast areas of spice plantations, luxuriant forests and rich cultural traditions, especially that of the tribal communities. Vythiri, which still retains its immaculate natural wealth, makes it an excellent picnic spot for both locals and tourists.
Visit Karalad Lake which is about 8 km from Vythiri is an unusually quiet retreat, the lake offers facilities for angling and boating as well as a recreational park. Later visit Pookot Lake, about 3 km from Vythiri.

Day 03-Vythiri – Ooty (135 Kms/3.5 Hours Ride)
Morning ride to Ooty and check in to the hotel.
Ooty is well known as “The queen of the Blue Mountains”, lies in the Nilgiri mountain ranges in Tamil Nadu. Set at a height of 2268 meters, Ooty is a town of salubrious climate and scenic beauty. It was developed as a hill station by the British in the 19th century, and is famous for its rolling hills and valleys covered with pine and eucalyptus forests, and its tea and coffee plantations.
Later, proceed for half day tour of Ooty visit the Botanical gardens established in 1848.There are over 1000 varieties of plants, shrubs and trees among beautiful lawns and glass houses. There is also a 200 million year old fossilized tree trunk. See the Ooty Lake, where boating is a popular pastime, and the Doddabatta Peak which at 2623 m is the highest in the Nilgiri hills.

Day 04- Ooty – Kodaikanal (250 Kms/6.5 Hours Ride)
Morning ride to Kodaikanal. On arrival check in to the hotel.
Kodaikanal or Kodai lies at an altitude of 2100 m in the Palani Hills, about 120 km northwest of Madurai. It is surrounded by wooded slopes, waterfalls and steep rocky outcrops and is ideal for trekking and hiking. The artificial lake created in 1910 acts as the focus of the town and also provides opportunities for boating. Pleasant in the summer, it is slightly chilly in the winter, especially after sunset.
Afternoon visit in and around Kodaikanal include the Kodaikanal lake, the Solar Physical Observatory and museum, St Peter’s Church, Shenbaganur museum, waterfalls like the Silver Cascade and Bear Shola falls, and scenic walking tracks like Coaker’s Walk. Pillar Rocks, 7 km away, are granite formations over 120 m high.

Day 05- Kodaikanal – Munnar (161 Kms/4.5 Hours Ride)
Morning ride to Munnar. Check in to the hotel.
Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1600 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town.
Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower that bathes the hills in blue every twelve years, will bloom next in 2006 AD. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India, Anamudi, which towers over 2695 m.
High up in the Cardamom Hills, the town is surrounded by rolling tea plantations, the highest in the world at 6000ft, and interspersed with planters’ bungalows and grand old churches from the Raj era. There are many interesting walks around the plantations and hills. Trek through cardamom forests and landscaped tea shrubs. Take picnics besides scenic waterfalls or hill-tops with panoramic views.
Day 06-Munnar – Periyar (90 Kms/3 Hours Ride)
Morning ride to Periyar.
Periyar is South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary, encompassing an area of 777 sq. km. Set on the attractive man-made Periyar Lake, it attracts over 300,000 visitors a year. Though the sanctuary was made a part of Project Tiger in 1973, it is better known for its elephants.
At Periyar, it is possible to take guided treks into the sanctuary. You can also take a boat ride on Lake Periyar, and see the wildlife around the lake as you cruise along its banks. Apart from elephants, bison, sambar, wild boar, langur, otter and flying squirrel are common. There are also 246 species of birds and 112 species of butterfly.

Day 07-Periyar – Kovalam (210 Kms/4.5 Hours Ride)
Morning ride to Kovalam. Check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08- Kovalam
Full day leisure to enjoy the beach or ride around or enjoy some Ayurvedic massages. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09- Kovalam – Alleppey (160 Kms/3.5 Hours Ride)
After breakfast, ride to Alleppey where you board your houseboat to cruise through the backwaters of Kerala.
The backwater cruise in a country boat is the best way to explore the villages and rural life. Join the backwater cruise the most fascinating and enjoyable route available.
Kerala backwaters consist of a complex network of lagoons, lakes, & canals and are best experienced while slowly rowing down the labyrinth of canals in a traditional thatch-roofed houseboat, known as ‘Kettuvallam’.
See life on the banks, lush green rice fields, and coconut groves with occasional temple or church as you cruise through the canals. Relish the special Kerala style meals prepared by your chef on board.

Day 10– Alleppey – Cochin (53 Kms / 1.5 Hours Ride)
Morning ride to Cochin. Check in to the hotel.
Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of fort Cochin by visiting “the Jewish Synagogue” at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town, “the St. Francis Church”, the oldest European Church in India, “the Santa Cruz Basilica” originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese, the Dutch Palace and Spice market in narrow streets.
Also visit the “Chinese fishing nets” huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have been brought to Kochi by Chinese traders.

Day 11– Depart From Cochin
